I finally got the chance to wear this pants, I wanted to wear them so much but the weather didn't allow it (it rains a lot in here!). I made it very simple with a crochet lace top from Chicwish for a very natural outfit and to show some skin. On my feet I used this sandals but I forgot to take a picture of them.

First look from Guadalajara. I'm so excited about the weather because is perfect to wear my forgotten jackets and blazers that I couldn't use in Mexicali, especially this one from Choies that I got a couple of weeks ago.

This time I chose something very simple because my friends and I went on a tour to know all the city, let's say this is a very chic and comfortable look for a tour.

Adapting

Just a quick post to give a sign of life, it's been a week since my last update but I have done many things, I already have my new apartment and I'm getting used to this new life. Tomorrow I'll start to post new outfits :)

It's going to be weird to read Vogue Mexico instead of USA.

Summer knit

I was going to make a long post talking about mint and basics and blablabla, but you know what? I'm so tired, mentally and physically. This moving out thing is harder than I thought, because I'm moving and my boyfriend too, so I'm helping him while I prepare my suitcases and documents.

Maybe I won't be able to post in a few days, but I hope you like this outfit!

I'll admit it, I went crazy at Zara and took advantage of their sales even though I'm saving every penny for my national exchange, but how could you say no to this amazing, gorgeous and super comfortable platforms with 85% off? You simply can't.

My favorite band is Franz Ferdinand, I had the wonderful opportunity to see them on San Diego at House of Blues and this is what I wore. I actually wore a white simple tank top but somehow it ended up very dirty during the trip, I wasn't carrying any other proper clothes so I had to go to the nearest Forever21 to buy something, when I saw this t-shirt I knew it was perfect!

It was an splendid concert, I really love the vitality and energy the band has on scene, they made us jump, sweat and sing until we were exhausted, so I didn't wear this heels to the concert, I changed them for a pair of flat sandals for my feet's health.

Autumn/Winter 2012 trends

Leather and green sleeves jacket, pencil green skirt, shoulder bag with studs and chains, studed high heel pumps.

Let's talk a little bit about trends. Every time the season changes I get very excited because of new collections but I also wonder what's worth to buy and what's not. I made a few outfits using some of the trends for next season, all the garments and accesories are from Sheinside, pretty inexpensive! Also, please have in mind that my city's weather is not very cold, so I don't wear a lot of coats.

Let's start with the military trend, I personally don't like camouflage but that doesn't mean I can't wear this trend. The military green color with a few rivets and chains accents work perfectly for this look, without leaving behind our feminity. 

Daily Denim

People don't change, but taste does. Denim was a no-no for me because I didn't find it chic or sophisticated, but now I do. It's all about the styling. 

Do you like this sandals from oasap? I receive so many comments about my heels and how sometimes it's impossible to wear them all the time, so I decided to make an outfit with comfortable sandals for everyday.

Zara lookbook August 12

Zara new lookbook. If you have been following my blog then you surely know I love Zara and how fast they're at keeping up with the new trends with affordable prices. Well, I just took a look at their new lookbook and I'm seriously in love. I literally want everything! (ouch, my pocket hurts!)

Si han estado siguiendo mi blog seguramente saben que amo a Zara y lo rápidos que son en mantenerse al corriente con las tendencias a precios asequibles. Acabo de ver el nuevo lookbook y estoy realmente enamorada de él, ¡literalmente quiero todo! (¡ay, me duele el bolsillo!)

Bridge

There are specific pieces that are very popular every season and sell out very quickly, we don't need to wait a lot to see who bloggers or celebrities wear them and a voice inside us tell us why didn't I buy it?  Sometimes we hope of seeing some pieces on sale but when that doesn't happen is a total disappointment.

I'm telling you this because I loved this shirt that looks like a jacket from Zara, I couldn't get it in time and when I saw that Sheinside was carrying it I didn't hesitate.

Last chance

A last chance to my favorite summer trends: neon, ombre and florals; I love them but summer will be over soon (hopefully, I can't stand the heat) and I'm also very excited about the new A/W trends. I'll embrace florals as much as I can for now.

Sport & Chic

The past year I went from having two pairs of pants to a mini collection, I started to find them very attractive and perfect to walk around the city, because let's be honest, you can't live in mini shorts or mini dresses all your life. Pants are also very comfortable, especially this loose fit pair which looks a lot like the ones you would wear to the gym, but in an elegant fabric and cut.

Here I am giving a last chance to this soft yellow shirt, it was actually neon yellow but after so many trips to the washing machine the color is more like a pastel now.
