Another birthday

Nothing better to wear on your birthday than a flowy, comfortable and colorful dress. The weather was excellent and my sandals arrived a few hours before, they were a birthday gift from my boyfriend. You must be sick of seeing me using this handbag, but I swear, it's so practical, and don't worry, I got some nice clutches so you won't see me wearing it that much anymore.

Birthday 'cake'

Happy birthday to me!

Just a quick post to thank you for your e-mails and messages congratulating me :) Thank you so much.

And I had to show you my birthday cake which was a fruit crepe with three flavor ice-cream scoops. It tasted as good as it looks! I had a wonderful time with my friends and boyfriend in a small coffee enjoying food and laughs.

Mono/Tijuana

I already started to celebrate my birthday by ignoring my eating habits and having cookies with peanut butter, but I'm not actually very excited about it because I feel old (cliche, I know) in an emotional way, not physical. Maybe some shopping could help?

Anyway, this set of photos were took in Tijuana about a week ago. Very simple and comfortable outfit for an evening/night out, because believe it or not, this shoes are very, very comfortable.

I miss Tijuana so much, there's always something to do and it has really nice places to take photos.

Looking forward / Romwe giveaway winner

Makeup is for me just as important as any accessory, I can't live without it and never go out of my house without wearing it. It can transform any outfit, for example, a classy white and black outfit can  be transformed by simply adding a bright red or pink lipstick, maybe nails too.

Wear every color

The advantage about spring coming too soon is that I can start to wear new and fresh clothes, after a few months wearing so many layers and having the shape of a penguin it's a relief to finally show some skin (because I have been working out!)

Weather is crazy, you just can't go out knowing exactly what to wear. Sometimes it's too windy, too hot, too cold... but it's ok, at least I can wear my new faux leather jacket which I got recently. I don't know why I decided to get it, because winter is obviously almost over but I've never had a faux leather jacket that fits me so well. So, I'll be wearing it everyday while taking advantage of the weather.

New in: Black platforms

My new wonderful, all season perfect and super comfortable shoes. I got really, really obsessed about Steve Madden Grettta's platforms but I couldn't find them in my size, so I started to do some research and found out that Candie's was making a replica! So after a few weeks hunting them on eBay, I finally got them!

Sadly, the replica is now sold out but I also found a very similar, almost identical style on Collage Boutique for a fraction of the price. If you love platforms, you should get them!

Tutorial: Thick brows

Thickening your brows is a great way to intensify your look and making you appear younger. Also, I find it helps you to use less make-up because the shape of your face gets so define by your brows.

This is the way I do it, of course, the thickness must depend of the shape of your face and your eyes; mine are quite small and my face is somewhat big so you can compare. However, you can experiment with different thickness and it gets easier with practice.

You don't have to use the same tools as me, but it's what I use daily and has giving me the best results.
