Soft skirt. Blush is one of my favorite colors lately (and black of course). I wish I was blonde so I could wear an all blush outfit without looking yellow.

I got this skirt in a discount store in my city for $5, I had to fix the waistband because they didn't had it in xs but it doesn't bother me anymore, I'm getting used to modify most of my clothes, otherwise I would never buy anything, it's hard to find things that fit me like a glove.

DIY tutorial: Sweetheart bandeau top

I'm loving the style of this bandeau top, it goes so well with everything: skirts, pants, shorts, under sheer shirts but they're quite hard to find in stores, and even if you find them sometimes they're a little too expensive for a very simple top! I came out with this idea and I already made three ♥

I love autumn, along with spring it's my favorite season of the year; very nostalgic, warm and yet slightly cold, we take our jackets and knits out of the closet and wearing boots with shorts is not uncomfortable.

I'm in love with this faux leather shorts, they're so easy to wear with everything and so comfortable, I paired it with a loose white tank top and my favorite boyfriend blazer. Even at 38˚C it was breathable enough.

Somebody asked me who is taking my pictures now, the answer is my boyfriend ;)

Friday without school and work, I went to Forever21 with my friend Lizeth (who took the pictures, thank you <3). I wasn't going to buy anything but the leather shorts I've been wanting, and I ended up buying the shorts, a dress and two skirts. When I arrived home, I realized I have many clothes in black/nude/cream/coffee colors, and I started to feel really bad because I have many clothes I haven't used yet. I feel like I'm wasting money and lately I haven't come out with any interesting outfit, do you ever feel like this? It's like nothing looks good enough.

As much as I love the people who surround me, my goal is to live in a bigger city, with more culture and more opportunities of finding a job in what I love to do. The city where I live is pretty small and calm, the weather is horrible most of the time (too hot or too cold) but the people is very nice. I'm pretty sure that when I leave this state or country, I'll miss the kindness of the people.

Life has been good lately. I have some money to spend, a decent amount of work which gives me enough energy and creativity, but also enough time to sleep. People around me are getting jobs, cool projects and I also want to start to do something, I must be crazy because my homework is going to increase in a very short time but I feel the urge to do something important, maybe it's because graduation is next year and I want to be prepared.

I told you, September is great.

Room

I had vacations from blogging, it gave me time to rest and think about many things I want to change. So here it is, new layout, bigger photos and many outfits I have in mind.

I have "these" moments every year, when I feel sick of everything I want to organize things and feelings so I have everything in control. And that's what I did this week; I cleaned my closet, took a lot of stuff out to donate, reorganized my room and even my make-up. It's like a fresh start every time I do this.

Lately I have been wanting to experiment more with colors, after a 758 pages magazine of glorious colors and styles I felt the urge to get brighter, even if I think neutrals are more for me. But I don't want to get stuck between orange/navy, green/coral, mustard/navy, I want to do something bold, something to laugh about in five or ten years. So today I bought an orange dress at Forever21 (exactly as this one from Zara but in orange) but I'm still not sure how to coordinate it, neutrals are easy, pan comido, but colors? I've been wearing black and grey a big part of my life.

September is going to be great

My VOGUE's September issue came this week, finally!

September for me it's full of wonderful things. In Mexico, we have a short vacation the 16th and we celebrate Mexican's Independence Day, with fireworks, food and company of friends and family; the day before, September 15, is my mom's birthday and we always go out to eat sushi and other delicious japanese food.

I think September is a month full of birthdays too, maybe because it's 9 months after December and many people like to make babies on Christmas Holidays? haha whichever the reason, I enjoy so much eating cake and celebrating.

Another thing I love about September is Las fiestas del Sol ("The Sun's celebrations", named after the unbelievable heat we have in my city), an event which lasts 3 weeks and ends in early Octuber. It's a fair, but also many famous musicians and bands come to perform, there's lots of places to eat and have fun. The funny thing is when Las fiestas del Sol is starting, many people go with shorts and tank tops because it's really hot, but at the ending ceremony everybody is wearing a sweater or a jacket; so silly and extreme is the weather in here!
