Please, please tell me now

H&M sunglasses gift from my friend Danna; Charlotte Russe striped crop top; floral shorts from Forever21; quilted white bag from eBay and floral printed pumps from wholesale-dress.net

I had never mixed prints! even if this outfit is pretty simple is a full acomplishment for me :)

I know I haven't been posting as much as I usually do, but I feel very exhausted about many things.

September wishlist

I know we are getting into autumn but in my city there's always a very high temperature even in Octuber, so maybe I would buy pieces that can be layered and used in autumn/maybe winter.

I'm in love with: colorblock blouses, leather shorts, white shorts with black details and a very nice structure, leather peter pan collar blouse and this red dress from Urban Outfitters which looks almost exactly as the Zara's one from past year (now sold out).

Maybe I'll do a DIY project for the white shorts because they're sold out in my size.

What I love to eat: fruit salads

For breakfast or dinner, fruit salads are my favorite. They're full of flavor, vitamins and sweetness.

A usual salad for me is...

1 kiwi
4-5 big strawberries
1/2 banana
1/2 apple
1/2 cup of low fat natural yogurt
1/3 cup natural unsweetened cereal

But actually, you can use whatever you have in your refrigerator. If you want to lose weight, choose between the berries family: strawberries, cranberries, raspberries, blueberries or blackberries, they're very, very low in calories.
I like to add natural yogurt and cereal because I plan my meals with every type of food: veggies/fruits, protein, good fats and carbs. They also add a very soft flavor and crunchy to the salad, if you want a heavier flavor, use a little bit of cinnamon powder and you're going to love it!

Right now I'm buying my berries frozen because it's so hard (and expensive) to buy them in summer, I can't wait for the next months when they're going to be cheaper ♥ :9

I want to be forgotten, and I don't want to be reminded

Too much work this week and I just want to lie in bed eating raspberries all day.

We're gonna celebrate

I'm celebrating with a chocolate x strawberry cupcake two awesome things that happened to me this week.

I reached 1,000 fans on LOOKBOOK!
It's been amazing to participate in such a great community, thanks a lot for the support and the sweetest comments I've ever received ♡ Maybe one thousand isn't a lot for some people, but it is to me!

The second thing that made me happy happened in social service; my boss told me her boss called and asked her who made certain designs. All of them were designed by me! and he said he liked them a lot!

I'm in such a good mood  ♫♩♪

Looking up at the sky, I hear a small bird chirp

Bird necklace and quilted bag from eBay; strapless bodice dress (used as a top) from Charlotte Russe; pleated long skirt from Mango; Glaze shoes.

You know what I love about autumn/winter? Darker colors are used and I can do a smokey eye make-up which I think suits me better than just eyeliner.
The moment I bought this black dress (yes, it's actually a short dress :D) I knew it was going to look fabulous with this skirt.

I can't believe the number of hypes ♡

Bad decisions

Last friday I had a fashion show. For one outfit they asked me to bring a pair of black shoes, which I already had and went perfectly with the style of the clothes, but for the other one they asked me for a nude high heel pumps and I didn't have anything like it! I know it should be a sin because it's a basic for any girl's wardrobe, but everytime I wanted to buy a pair I felt it wasn't neccesary. I ended up buying a pair from a friend's sister in size 6 1/2 the same day of the runway (I'm a size 7).
Now I just want to sell them. Don't get me wrong, they're beautiful, they're high, they're perfect for any outfit in the planet, but they're killing my feet! During the fashion show I had to practice a lot before going out because I felt I was going to fall, and I ended up with blisters anyway.

Now I can't stop feeling guilty because I bought something really unnecesary, does this happens to you? I think most women, shopping addicts, or fashion addicts we feel like this every now and then, especially on sales season.

Te da miedo enamorarte perdida y locamente de mí

Can you guess? This is a skirt :D It's so comfortable and light used as a dress.
I started my social service yesterday, that means ALL DAY I'm busy for the next 6 months, and I just went to the doctor and he told me I was getting sick because of stress and lack of sleep. I really don't know what I'm going to do! Maybe I'll be posting less :(

Photo diary

Photos from the weekend and Monday. I went to Oceanside, CA to visit my family. I survived with the same pair of shoes for 3 days (!), had my favorite salad from Jack in the Box twice, visited the beach and a clothing store where I got the striped top you saw in the last post.
On Monday I made my nails and as the LBD and red lips, natural nails are never out of style.
Oh, yeah and I also made chocolate cupcakes and sold them at school because I wanna go to a conference in Tijuana. I sold all of them ♥

Shedding tears for affairs. I’m a stupid little thing.

Straw hat and quilted bag from eBay; Charlotte Russe shorts, black striped top and bow wedges from my mom's.

First day of school!
I made this outfit inspired by Coco Chanel, with the striped top, quilted bag, black bow and the straw hat ♥

Make-up to the minimum

But not on your face, in your purse. I have a friend who recently lost her make-up bag and it contained everything she uses on a daily basis, and I thought "If that ever happens to me, I would go crazy!" but then I thought I could never have this problem because I always keep my make-up bag to the minimum (well, maybe it could happen on a trip, hopefully I'll never be in that situation!)

My cosmetic case. It's the size of my hand.

1. Buy a small cosmetic bag.
Darker colors are prefered because they're easier to mantain. If something else doesn't fit, don't take it with you!

2. Don't take your foundation with you.
It can suffer many things: it can brake if it's glass (like mine), it can spill all over your cosmetics or you can lose it. Also, most foundation containers are too big to carry with you.

3. Double use for everything.
You know you can use mascara as eyeliner too? just take a small liner brush and mascara works fantastic for those quick touch ups!
You can use your foundation as concealer (or viceversa), eyeshadow for contouring and highlighting. Also, if you have dry/normal skin, you can use your lipstick on your cheeks.

4. Use small containers.
If you really need to take it with you, use a small plastic container and only fill it with a small amount. To keep your other make-up safe from your foundation, wrap it in a small plastic bag.

5. Don't carry around all your lipsticks and/or lipglosses.
They take a lot of space, and if for some reason you left your purse in a hot place, you're in risk of them melting. Carry what you're using that day.

In my cosmetic case: e.l.f. Translucent Matifying Powder, NYX lipstick, Chanel blush (with brush),
L.A. Girl High Definition concealer.

6. Buy a palette.
Clinique makes some awesome palettes that include blush, eyeshadow and sometimes glosses, everything in a small compact including a mirror. They really save a lot of space! If you don't have a palette, just take with you what you really need, if you feel your blush needs retouching but your eyeshadow doesn't, then maybe a blush compact with a little brush is the solution :)

7. Be honest with yourself.
Do you really have to carry an eyelash curler with you? or your make-up remover?
Forget about brushes, fingers are your best tools at the end of the day, just make sure they're clean.

Hopefully this tips can save you lots of space in your purse (especially now that clutchs are trendy but you can't fit anything in them).

Bazaar shopping

Last friday I went to a bazaar near my friend's house. It's a very modest and small bazaar but I like to go every now and then to find key pieces for my wardrobe :) I find it very relaxing too.

- New Clinique make-up case ($0.50) for my nail polishes.
- Estee Lauder make-up pouch ($0.50) that I'm going to use as a clutch. I really like this year autumn/winter trend with reptil textures and this is going to be perfect as a clutch :)
- Leopard top ($1.00) that I modified. It had straps at the back and long sleeves but I wanted to make it simplier.
- Beige patent bag ($3.00) it was practically new and very classy so I couldn't resist. The only bad thing is that it has "Gucci" on the side (it's fake, obviously) and I'm thinking how can I cover it? any ideas? :) maybe I just can give it to my mom, she doesn't mind brands at all.
- Kimono chiffon blouse ($0.50) very pretty, I want to wear it with a black bikini so badly!
- Gold watch ($4.00) the most expensive piece of my haul, but so worth it! I don't wear a lot of accesories but this was calling my name.

All the items I bought are like new condition with no flaws, and I'm happy I spent $9.50 on pieces that will improve my wardrobe ♥
